Privacy policy

Egyptian Mythology is an encyclopedia and quiz about the gods and myths of ancient Egypt, published by Netersoft. All its content ships with the app: this policy explains what it does with your data.

No data collected

Egyptian Mythology does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. The app has no user account, shows no ads, does not use the device's advertising ID, contains no usage analytics or crash reporting tools, and does not communicate with any server, Netersoft's included.

Data stored on your device

• Your quiz scores and your best score stay on your device.
• Your preferences (language, music, sound effects) are stored on the device.

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data.

Sharing

When you share an article or the app, the system share sheet opens: you choose the app that receives the text, which is then subject to that service's rules.

Reviews and external links

After a new quiz record, the app may show the Google Play review prompt. That prompt is handled by Google: the app does not know whether you rated it or what you wrote.

The links in the credits and on the About page (sources, the Google Play page to rate the app, the contact email) open in your browser or the relevant app. Egyptian Mythology transmits nothing else.

Children

Since Egyptian Mythology collects no data, it collects no data from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will ship with the app update, along with its effective date.
